Edition and cross-play
Current official documentation is Steam PC only; PS5 and Xbox versions are planned after development is complete, not current dedicated-server cross-play targets.
Mods and extensions
Keen has not promised current official mod support, so the supported workflow remains a vanilla server with recoverable world/config state.
Administration
Administration uses password-bearing userGroups and in-game permission flags; the reviewed official documentation exposes no native RCON or HTTP remote-admin channel.

Download the current Windows build directly from the official GitHub release. No signup or hosting account is required.
Start with a Windows computer you control. This installer is code-signed by GoneWrongGaming LLC. Check that publisher name in Windows before installing. The download page includes the exact filename and SHA-256 checksum.
