Terms of Service

Effective date: July 24, 2026

These terms apply to the Gone Wrong Servers website, software, beta program and paid services provided by Gone Wrong Gaming. By using them, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the services.

What the software does

Gone Wrong Servers helps you install and manage dedicated game servers on hardware you control. We do not provide the games, your internet connection, your router, or the third-party server software. You are responsible for owning any required games and following the relevant publisher, platform and mod-service terms.

Free and Pro

Free includes the tools required to install, configure, connect and manually operate supported servers. Pro adds automation, Guardian, concurrent server hosting and Pocket Ops. A standard Pro subscription is licensed for one activated PC. Founder licenses may allow two activated PCs under their separate offer.

Subscriptions and renewal

Pro is billed annually through Stripe and renews automatically until canceled. The price, billing period and any taxes are shown before payment. Canceling stops future renewal and normally leaves access active through the paid period. The final refund rules are published in our Refund Policy.

Optional support contributions

A support contribution is a voluntary one-time payment. It is not a charitable or tax-deductible donation, does not unlock Pro, does not create a subscription, and does not change your Free license. The amount and any applicable taxes are shown before payment.

License checks and offline use

Pro may periodically contact Gone Wrong Gaming to confirm that the subscription and device activation remain valid. After a successful check, Pro can continue offline for up to 14 days. Free server operation is not disabled when Pro expires; only Pro features become unavailable.

Beta software

Beta builds can contain defects, incomplete features and breaking changes. Keep independent backups of important worlds. We design recovery features carefully, but no backup system replaces a copy stored separately from the hosting PC.

Acceptable use

Do not use the services to violate law, attack systems, distribute malware, evade platform rules, infringe intellectual property, or interfere with other users. Do not resell, share, reverse engineer or bypass paid licenses except where applicable law expressly permits it.

Third-party services

Steam, game publishers, mod services, Stripe, Cloudflare and other providers operate under their own terms and can change or discontinue their services. Gone Wrong Gaming is independent and is not endorsed by supported games, publishers or platforms.

Availability and warranties

We work to make hosting dependable, but cannot promise uninterrupted operation, universal router compatibility, permanent game support or that third-party updates will never break a server. To the extent permitted by law, the services are provided as available without implied warranties.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Gone Wrong Gaming is not responsible for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including lost gameplay, lost profits or unavailable third-party services. Nothing here limits rights or liability that cannot legally be limited.

Changes and termination

We may update these terms as the product changes. Material changes will receive a new effective date and reasonable notice. We may suspend access for fraud, abuse, chargebacks or serious violations, subject to applicable law and the Refund Policy.
