Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 23, 2026
This policy explains what Gone Wrong Gaming (“we”, “us”) collects through the Gone Wrong Servers website at gonewronggaming.com, why we collect it, and what we do with it. The short version: we collect as little as possible, we don't sell it, and we tell you plainly when something changes.
Beta and Founders Access signups
When you join Founders Access we collect your email address, an optional first name, the game you most want to host, and whether you're willing to test early builds. We use this to send beta invites, download links and launch news, and to plan which games to support first. We do not sell or rent this list to anyone.
To leave the list, email Support@gonewronggaming.com from the signed-up address and we'll remove you.
Support emails
If you email support, we keep the correspondence so we can help you and improve the product. Support emails may include technical details you choose to share (like log excerpts). Don't send us passwords — we'll never ask for them.
Hosting, security and cookies
This website is delivered through Cloudflare, which processes network and security information needed to deliver the site and resist abuse. We currently use no advertising analytics and set no tracking cookies on this site. Stripe may use essential security and payment cookies on its hosted checkout pages when paid sales open.
Software downloads
Gone Wrong Serversisn't available for download yet. When it is, this section will describe anything the download and update process handles (such as version checks). We will not add hidden telemetry: if the app ever reports anything home, it will be disclosed here and in the app itself.
Payments, support contributions and Pro licensing
When payments open, Stripe will process optional one-time support contributions as well as Pro checkout, payment methods, receipts, renewals and billing changes. We do not receive or store your full card number. We receive the information needed to record the transaction, such as your email, Stripe customer, payment or subscription identifiers, amount, payment status, plan, renewal status and paid-through date.
We use that information to create and maintain your Pro entitlement, enforce its device limit, provide the 14-day offline grace period, answer billing questions, prevent fraud and keep required financial records. Stripe handles its data under the Stripe Privacy Policy.
How long we keep data
Beta list entries are kept until you unsubscribe or until the beta program ends and the list is migrated to launch announcements (with the same opt-out). Support emails are kept as long as they're useful for helping you. Billing and entitlement records are kept while your account is active and afterward as needed for refunds, fraud prevention, tax, accounting and legal obligations.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email Support@gonewronggaming.com and we'll sort it out.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, we'll update the effective date above and note the change prominently on this page. We won't quietly expand what we collect.
